Taapmaan is a hard-hitting, dark action drama about an independent filmmaker whose only wish is to become the kind of filmmaker he wants to be. He has been struggling since quite long but still has nobody standing by his side. In addition to this, his not-so-successful career gets affected badly when an online critic, with whose opinion he had once disagreed, gets him framed for making a snuff film. When he's not provided justice, he gets shattered from within and proclaims openly to sacrifice his speech unless he gets justice. But in the age of digital media, isn't he just another guy who wants his work to be seen and appreciated? His battle intensifies when time passes by and lack of justice makes him brutal and extremely angry. Three families from three different level of society are involved in an accident. Immorality and betrayal which are in some families will take the natural right of the children- All in the dark are the same, human do not make the same decision in the specific situation and in the end no one is guilty. The wrong culture of a society will force the human to do the mistakes so we should not judge the people and their behavior.. Joy Holbrook is an intuitive market researcher in DC who has captured the attention of the account's CEO and is about to get a sweet promotion, just in time for the holidays. She receives an urgent phone call from home and she rushes back to Crystal Falls, NC to help her Aunt recover from surgery and is reunited with her former crush, Ben. To keep her Aunt focused on healing, Joy volunteers to take Ruby's place with the town's legendary baking competition, the "Cookie Crawl," much to the amusement of Ben who knows Joy has absolutely no idea of the Herculean task before her.
